Description

Network meta-analysis for comparing multiple interventions

When several treatments exist but head-to-head trials do not cover every comparison, network meta-analysis combines direct and indirect evidence to compare and rank them. This service is delivered by specialists experienced in health technology assessment, using internationally accepted methodology in both Bayesian and frequentist frameworks.

What you receive

  • Network geometry plots showing the evidence structure
  • Bayesian and/or frequentist NMA, selected to suit the data
  • Treatment ranking with SUCRA values and rankograms
  • Assessment of inconsistency and heterogeneity
  • League tables and forest plots against a common comparator
  • A methods and results report ready for manuscript writing, with analysis code
  • Invoices suitable for MOE and NRF grant claims

How it works

  1. Review of the research question, eligibility criteria and extracted data
  2. Assessment of transitivity and an analysis plan
  3. NMA, inconsistency checks and graphics
  4. Delivery of results, report and code, with an explanation of findings

Standards we follow

Analyses follow the PRISMA extension for network meta-analyses and the Cochrane Handbook, with certainty of evidence assessed using GRADE, in line with COPE and ICMJE.

Turnaround and price
